Amplifier

This compact home amplifier is built around the Tripath TA2024 chipset—a highly efficient 2x15W digital audio amplifier known for its impressive fidelity at a low cost.

To expand the functionality beyond the basic board, I designed a custom wiring layout that supports dual audio inputs (RCA and 3.5mm), selectable via a rotary input switch. The front panel also features a smooth audio-taper potentiometer for volume control, along with an on/off switch paired with an LED power indicator.

All components are housed in a metal Hammond project enclosure, allowing for a clean, durable layout with a minimalist aesthetic. The result is a simple, reliable amplifier that delivers great sound while offering a few thoughtful usability upgrades.
